I don't know who this blog is for. With the way the modern internet works, it's unlikely this website will ever reach a wide audience because it’s not on any major platform. So maybe this blog is for me. I'm not a writer and do not aspire to be one. I have just grown tired of the existing platforms and their algorithms. I don't want to see my ideas alongside products I do not endorse without consent.

This independent platform allows me to experiment in a more creative way, away from the endless timelines of curated content and their associated commercial interests.

To be completely transparent, I use AI in various parts of my work, including while writing this post. Eventually, we will all use AI in one form or another. It will become so ubiquitous in daily life that we will hardly remember a time when we didn't engage with artificial intelligence while using technology. Don't be afraid. Embrace your AI overlords.

However, this blog is not about AI (not exactly). This blog is about technology and being a technologist. There will be posts about programming, audio, music, cars, racing, and anything else I feel like writing about. If you come back here and this is the only post after months, well then you know what happened. I realize this is a terrible (and somewhat cynical) post. For now, I need to focus on the bits.

You can also join the self-published internet anarchy revolution. In the same spirit as the self-published zine, you can copy, paste, glue, and tape your own content together to be completely ignored on the internet. Try building something—it's fun.
